The mod is similar to the COD4 DAM mod, which was a version slightly different than PAM4. The COD5 mod is called DAMN:WW and fixes the important issues such as the rifle and sniper damage. If you hit your opponent above the waist with a bolt rifle or sniper, you will get a direct kill. Also the gunsway has been removed, and an option to drop the bomb is also added. The only thing which hasn't changed although everybody wanted it changed, is the cooking of the grenades which is still active. A changelog can be found below.

- Fixed the sound occlusion.
- No dust/fog/fire.
- Hitblips only show when someone isn't shot through a wall.
- Nade blips off.
- Sway is removed for all guns as it is still broken.
- Exploding barrels/cars will not explode.
- Grenade damage only slightly decreased, larger than cod1, but smaller than default.
- The "AWP" fix is used. The scopes zoom in fast, but you are forced to zoom out when you shoot, and the gun must re-cock fully before you can zoom back in.
- Alternate regen system. This will be forced for a little while, so people can try it before rejecting it.
- Bolts/scopes now kill from the waist up.
- All perks disabled.
- Added ability to drop the bomb and /kill with binds.
- Grenade indicators are disabled.
- Healthbar added for the new regen system.
- The "bomb" and all hud icons are removed, since there are icons on the minimap for them.
- ALL semi-automatic rifles shoot at the same speed as the garand.
- The "+5" popup is gone when you kill someone.
- The "red dots" on radar are removed.
- Recoil is still the same as stock, along with most damages.
- Grenades remain cookable.
- Menu system remains default until the mod tools are released.
- Ready up mode along with halftime and automatic team switch.

If you haven't heard yet the CoD5 beta will be closing on Monday morning (Nov 10th). Once it closes you will no longer be able to login to it on both the PC and Xbox360. They are doing this in preperation for the full version of the game which will be released on November 11th (or earlier if you downloaded the leaked copy ). Hopefully all of our current beta servers will be upgraded ASAP to the full version once it comes out.
